According to the 2000 Population Census, average life expectancy in China ranging between 78 years in Shanghai and 64 years in Tibet. Obviously, life expectancy is correlated highly with economic development, as population in highly developed coastal provinces have much higher life expectancy than in interior or western provinces. |
