| Already since the late 1970s China has a larger population age 25 to 69 than all countries of Europe combined; and India's population aged 25-69 surpassed all of Europe's in that age group in the late 1990s. |
| With 1.5 billion population age 25 to 69 all other countries combined have "only" about twice the population in that age group than China. |
