Note: Europe (48) see Glossary

Already since the late 1970s China has a larger population age 25 to 69 than all countries of Europe combined; and India's population aged 25-69 surpassed all of Europe's in that age group in the late 1990s.
With 1.5 billion population age 25 to 69 all other countries combined have "only" about twice the population in that age group than China.
By the middle of the 21st century China, all of Europe, India, and the United States of America combined will have less than 2.4 billion people age 25 to 69, while the rest of the world will have more than 2.7 billion.
