In Janurary 2005, the China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC) published its 15th Statistical Survey Report on the Internet Development. According to this report, China had at least 94 million internet users by the end of 2004. Other experts have estimated that the number may be actually closer to 130 million - taking into account users who get access to the internet at work or as students. More than 42 million of these users had broadban access to the Internet. The total number of unique Internet Protocol (IPv4) addresses allocated to China has been almost 60 million.
