Overview

On this satellite image you can see the famous TV tower of Shanghai (upper-left) and the imposing Jinmao Tower (lower-right) - a stunning piece of modern architecture and currently the tallest building in China (420.5 m). Both buildings are located in the New Pudong district. Opposite the "Bund" across the Huangpu river, this new district was built in the late 1990s on boggy farmland. It has now become Shanghai's pulsating financial district.
